Tiring

Published by Paul under General

Crumpet and I have spent the entire day (except for the early morning when we took Stella to the vet for a checkup and booster shots and then picked up some hardware for cleaning/repairs) packing our lives into boxes. Let me tell you, my life is freaking HEAVY.

We’re just about to head out to the office Christmas party, or as I like to call it, the free meal which lets us pack the kitchen up.

Big thanks to Vetti, Joffa and Keith for helping us move tomorrow. We will repay you with pizza and coffee!

Bringing It On Home

Yesterday I finally got confirmation that my pay rise had been approved. Also, Keith’s hiring has been approved by HR. The plans I’ve been concocting over the last two years… HAVE FINALLY COME TO FRUITION!

*diabolical laughter*

Seriously though, my life is in a good spot right now. Hope yours is too.

Phone me not

Published by Paul under General

As of a few days ago, our land line was cut off when the incompetent ISP finally enabled our Naked DSL line properly.

So, if you want to call us, I suggest not using the landline, and instead, use our mobiles! Or even better, use email so I don’t have to talk on the phone. It’s not you. I like you. Really.

Is that the time?

Wow, I’ve been really slack at this blogging thing. Guess I’ll think about something to say today and if I come up with something compelling, post it tonight.

The Crisis of Credit

Published by Paul under General

I understood the US economy problem in only the vaguest sense, but this movie makes it abundantly clear how badly the financial institutions have screwed the American people, and how that has in turn screwed the rest of the world.

Learning! It’s fun!
