On the recommendation of Julian ‘Rabbit’ Murdoch from the Gamers with Jobs podcast, I bought the Space Miner game for my iPhone.
I played it for a couple of minutes during my lunch break and was really disappointed because it was just Asteroids.
I tried it again a day or two later and realised… it’s Asteroids with a tech tree. And therefore it is awesome.
Oh, and it’s kinda amusing too. Worth the $2.50.

don’t tempt me, I’m a sucker for tech trees…
I think I got about 8 hours of gameplay for $2.50, but it’s a bloody easy game. I got an achievement for not dying once, and it wasn’t hard to get.
Btw, we found that we still have some Laphroig Quarter Cask at home so next time we’re around remind us to bring it
