Space Miner

February 26, 2010 by paul

On the recommendation of Julian ‘Rabbit’ Murdoch from the Gamers with Jobs podcast, I bought the Space Miner game for my iPhone.

I played it for a couple of minutes during my lunch break and was really disappointed because it was just Asteroids.

I tried it again a day or two later and realised… it’s Asteroids with a tech tree. And therefore it is awesome.

Oh, and it’s kinda amusing too. Worth the $2.50.

I think I got about 8 hours of gameplay for $2.50, but it’s a bloody easy game. I got an achievement for not dying once, and it wasn’t hard to get. :)

Btw, we found that we still have some Laphroig Quarter Cask at home so next time we’re around remind us to bring it :)
