Dazzled by anti-dazzle

January 11, 2010 by paul

Just a really quick note here:

The anti-dazzle mirror in Tipsi is magic! I assumed that it contained a little motor to rotate the mirror when it detected a light shining on it, but it’s trickier than that. There’s actually some kind of liquid inside it that gets electrically charged, reducing the amount of light reflected into your eyes. Clever stuff, and as a side bonus it tints light green. Looks very funky to see green-tinted headlights behind you.

It’s the future!

More crazy things that my new car does later.

tipsi tints light green? mayhap the magical liquid is absinthe, or you’ve had too many RTDs/hits from the port flagon
