Bringing It On Home

Published by Paul under General

Yesterday I finally got confirmation that my pay rise had been approved. Also, Keith’s hiring has been approved by HR. The plans I’ve been concocting over the last two years… HAVE FINALLY COME TO FRUITION!

*diabolical laughter*

Seriously though, my life is in a good spot right now. Hope yours is too.

Today was a decent day

I need to apologise, as it seems every lazy blogger does from time to time, for my dismal output of late. I’d like to be able to say that I’ll get better but I don’t want to make a promise I can’t keep, so let’s just see how it goes.

It occurs to me that I never bothered explaining why I occasionally post pictures like the one below on my Twitter or Facebook pages along with short comments like, “This was good, I liked it”.

Editing video is HARD

Published by Paul under Zoom-zoom

I shot some bad video of the Audi TT that I drove this week, but I’m utterly incapable of using Final Cut Pro to do anything with it.

So, in the meantime I will point you to the write-up of my test drive of the Toyota Prius. Short review: painfully slow and in the long run, more expensive to run than a diesel.

I am looking to replace Mopsy at the moment as the driver seat is no longer comfortable. A VW Golf is looking like the prime candidate, especially as it only needs a yearly service and consumes about half the amount of fuel that Mopsy drinks.
