Searching through the used car classifieds, as I am wont to do when work is slow, it never ceases to amaze me that there are great sports cars out there that really haven’t been used.
Take, for example, the 2001 Porsche Boxster S with under 20,000 kms on the clock.

Why on earth was this car purchased? To look stylish? It certainly wasn’t bought to be driven anywhere. My car, which is usually only driven to work, has nearly 50,000 kms on it and I’ve only had it since late-2006.
Mark my words, when I get a Porsche of my own, I will drive the living shit out of it.
I agree. If you’re going to buy a car just to garage it, save your money and just go visit the car yard every weekend to ‘look’ at a car that you may have bought.
I’ve just clocked 100,000kms in the Monaro. I drive it everyday. That’s why I bought it.
Looking forward to seeing the next car in the stable Paul.
