I’ve been holding off on buying Fallout 3 for several reasons but mostly because I’m still getting my head above water financially (but I’m doing a lot better now, honest!).
The second-highest in the list of reasons is the general consensus that the PS3 version of the game is somewhat broken in comparison to the Xbox 360 and PC versions. I don’t have a 360, and I really can’t see myself sitting in front of a computer for 100 hours of gaming, so I’ll wait for a patch.
I have a good reason to wait for that patch now. If I buy the game and start playing without trophy support, I’ll have to restart the game when they patch it in.
