Institutionalised stupidity has invaded our lunch room and I now have to suffer a notice above the boiling water tap saying ‘CAUTION: BOILING WATER’ and another at the coffee machine saying ‘CAUTION: HOT WATER AND STEAM’.
I am seriously considering making some more warning notices to ensure the kitchen is truly safe. For example:
On the fridge – CAUTION: COLD
On the cupboard – CAUTION: BEWARE OF FALLING CROCKERY
On the cutlery drawer – CAUTION: POINTY THINGS
On the floor – CAUTION: FLOOR
I mean, we can’t be too careful.
oh dear – have you found out who is responsible for the notices yet? mebbe you could attach a notice to them when you do?
