I finished my ITIL training today and did my first exam in (I’m fairly sure) 17 years. I actually got nervous – the reason being that I really couldn’t identify with the material. Plus, the lecturer was using new slides and misjudged the time required to teach the subject, leaving us short on time to do the mock exams. One exercise was skipped entirely.
On the positive side, I got 26/40 for my first mock exam last night (the bare minimum required to pass), and 32/40 for the second this afternoon. Also, if I fail, at least I won’t be paying to retake it.
To celebrate on the tram trip home, I played a game I haven’t played for a couple of years. It’s called, “Who Would You Shag?”. The object of the game is to wait for the tram to stop at a tramstop, then imagine that you were required to shag one of the people standing outside the tram (the people inside are not allowed, as it makes the game too easy if there’s somebody stunning onboard).
This game can be entertaining in the city, but it gets hellishly difficult the further out you go. There’s usually a brief respite at Scotchmer St in Northcote, but after that I was usually reduced to picking the more attractive (or less freakish) of two men, or trying to decide between an 8-year-old and her grandmother.
More news – we finally received an electricity bill, and due to the colossal nightmare that is Simply Energy’s billing system, we’ve ended up getting over 2 years worth of electricity for under $300.
Not. Too. Shabby. We were dreading a $2000 bill!
Definitely the grandmother, no teef~
