24 frames per second

I can’t believe how many films I’ve watched already this year. I’m behind on the cinema viewings (I wanted to go once a week), but the home cinema experience is hardly slumming it.

I watched The Host alone last night, and The Fountain with Crumpet tonight. I’m very glad she chose to watch it – I thought it was wonderful… and yes, it did get dusty in the room.

The Host is such a unique take on the monster movie, love it!

The Fountain – I’ll have to bring the graphic novel version for y’all to check out. I thought the Future scenes were incredible!

hey m1k3y, i actually went on a rampage a few weeks ago, and bought both The Fountain on Bluray and the graphic novel. I’d borrowed the DVD from our local milk bar because I’d been interested in seeing it, and loved it that much…

Haven’t had a chance to read the graphic novel yet though, but I’ve flipped through and really love the style of artwork.
