LittleBigPlanet

December 9, 2007 by paul

The PS3 is only just starting to become an interesting platform for gaming, but 2008 is shaping up to be the year that it breaks through. If you have any interest in playing games at all, you should watch the video for LittleBigPlanet here – it’s the most astonishing thing I’ve ever seen.

It’s a collaborative, player-designed world – you make the levels in real-time from within the game itself, with cute-as-a-button characters and an amazing physics engine. It will appeal both to hardcore gamers and casual players, and to men and women alike.

The demo is running late, but hopefully something will be released in the next couple of months. If the game is even close to the demo, this will sell millions of copies for Sony.
