Drew lent me the aforementioned game, and I have to say it would probably be fantastic if they’d only gotten programmers who had driven a car in their lives… ever. I suspect that’s why, when I asked when he wanted it returned, he said, “No rush.”

I just showed Crumpet the high-definition trailer to GT5 and confused the hell out of her. She said, “It won’t look like this in the game, will it?” and I said, “Yes…” And she said, “But this looks like video!” and I said, “Yes…” And now I think she understands why I bought the PS3. [...]
