I met this little fella (and by little I mean about an inch long) tonight in the bathroom. Well, actually I first noticed it when it was under a foot away from my face!
Yep, it’s a white-tail.
As is typical for the nasty bitey spiders, I took it far away outside and released it, with a stern warning that next time it would get squashed!
Which reminds me, we had WonderWayne and Melicious over for dinner a couple of weeks ago, and a happy little White Tail fell from the recessed light fitting that had recently blown, right onto the table, about 2 inches from WonderWayne’s plate.
And the moral of the story? When a light blows, replace it, before the spiders come.
We crushed our little white tail, as we have done ever since the day Mrs Gizo put her denims on and found a rather large one inside the right leg.
That’s one nasty looking white tail.
I get a few at my place but never one that nasty
naaasty! don’t want any of these visiting my house…
