Finally

October 25, 2005 by paul

The Australian iTunes Music Store is finally available. And yes, I’ve bought four songs. Old 80′s songs that I’ve always been nostalgic about (Oh Yeah, Don’t You (Forget About Me), Turning Japanese and The Order of Death) but not nostalgic enough to spend $20-30 on a CD for the one song. I did try to get Trespassers William’s first album but although the store shows it available, it won’t actually let me buy it yet. Teething problems, I guess, which should be sorted out over the next few weeks as the Australian labels finally begin pulling their heads out of their rectal passages.

PS: Trespassers William works now. Bought. :)

I can’t even buy a celebratory song yet. Can’t access the store from school…

Well, see, there’s this online store, and you buy a song instead of stealing it. :)

I only plan to use it for the odd track here and there. Buying an album in 128kbps AAC online for $17 makes no sense to me, I’d rather pay more and get the full quality.
