The most depressing thing about Nescafé Blend 43 is the implication that Nestlé made 42 worse blends before settling on this crap.

Nescafé Blend 43? Bleurgh.
I’ve heard that the most rare and delicious coffee (called Kopi_Luwak) is made from coffee beans that have been pre-digested (and excreted) by the tree-dwelling Palm Civet. Apparently the Palm Civet only picks the most red and ripe berries…which are apparently the best for coffee.
Maybe Nescafé uses their own version of pre-digested beans…sure tastes like they’ve been through a few digestive systems already…

heh. the old Blend 43 is the caffeine of choice here at my work. It is actually more palatable than the filth from the cafe’s “expresso machine” (their words, not mine)
